Rigid curricula, behavioral grades, stupid topics and authoritarien teachers aren't coincidental.School and society can not be seperated.Society is coloured by different power relations such as racism, capitalism and sexism. These forms of discrimation are mirrored in schools.

In this seminar we want to develop a well informed criticism of the school system and investigate the relationship between school and power relations.

We will conclude with the question as to how we can intervene in the grueling daily school routine.
